We invite you to apply for the annual Golden Torch Scholarship. The application requirements are listed below:
- Current full time enrollment in a College or University degree program
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (On a 4.0 Scale; Midterm grades used for Freshmen)
- Involvement in one or more Campus/Community Extracurricular Activities
The deadline to submit the application is November 14th at 6pm. The scholarship will be awarded at the annual Alpha Phi Alpha, Black & Gold Gala. This event will take place on the first Saturday in December at 6pm.

The contest engages High School Seniors in learning and writing about today's societal issues while encouraging creative writing skills and appreciation for current society issues and how they affect the student.
